Ewon Connectivity - Single Tag Update

For larger updates it is recommended to update the entire Tag List via an FTP client. To upload a new Tag List see Instruction Tag List Update.

Update With GUI

Use the Ewon GUI to update the script.

1.1 Login

  1. Access the Ewon GUI by entering the IP address of the Ewon in a web browser. There can be up to 3 different IP addresses; LAN, WAN, and VPN. Which one you should use depends on your application and how you will connect. The default LAN IP address is 10.0.0.53.
  2. Login to the GUI using your device’s credentials. The default username and password are both adm.

1.2 Access Tag List

  1. To view the Tag List, navigate to Tags > Values.
  2. Click the MODE slider to change from VIEW to SETUP.

1.3 Modify Tag

  1. In the top bar above the tags, Click Edit.
  2. Modify the properties of the Tag.
  • Identification

Tag Name: The name what will appear in the payload sent to Pani

  • I/O Server Setup

Server Name: The type of IO Server used to communicate with the tag source

Topic Name: The specific IO Server used to communicate with the tag source

Address: The individual address of the tag within the tag source

  • Tag groups: Select at least 1 tag Group

NOTE: The Tag Group selected here must be enabled in the Pani script if the value is desired to be sent to Pani.
