Alerts-How do I set/change alert frequency?

Frequency of receiving alerts can be adjusted several ways.
First, the Notification Settings tool in the left side menu on the Notifications page.
Second, if the alert is too frequent due to incorrect thresholds, then adjusting those details via Alert Builder or the Configure option within the alert as it appears in the main feed.
Third, users with the 'Admin' role for the company's account can manage the notification settings of all users at their company through the user management dashboard (the Users tab of the Home page). Notification settings are scoped to a particular plant, so users that have access to multiple plants will have separate settings for each plant. In order to manage the notification settings for a user, the admin must first select a plant from the "Manage users at:" dropdown field in the upper right part of the page.  Once a plant is selected, the "Update Notification Settings" button will become clickable.  This will open a modal that contains the same notification settings interface as what's found in the Notification Settings tool from the Notifications page.
Note, while an 'Admin' can update the notification settings for a user, users with sufficient permissions are able to update their own settings and potentially overwrite any changes made by the admin.  The 'Operator' role is the only role that does not have permissions to manage their own settings, as this type of change is assumed to require approval from the person(s) they report to.
